Patchwork Quilting Retreats Fall 2010!

For all of you looking for an alternative short break holiday, look no further  — we are offering a 2 night 2 day special Weekend of Patchwork Quilting in the Southeast!!!  Arrive on Friday evening and begin a weekend of uninterrupted sewing! Saturday morning after breakfast you can get out your unfinished projects  or maybe begin a new one and sew to your hearts content.  We will provide lunch on both Saturday and Sunday, have to keep up your strength!  On Saturday evening you can head up to Ferns village for a meal.  After breakfast on Sunday you can enjoy a few more hours of sewing  before returning home!  We need a minimum of 4 people for this special weekend retreat, so gather up your patchwork friends and head off for an enjoyable escape.   Price is 130 euro per person for groups of four; for a group of 6 quilters the price would be 120 euro per person.  Call or email for more information.

Patchwork Quilting Weekend Course Fall 2010!

Have you ever wanted to learn how to make your own quilt?    An intensive weekend course is available this Autumn 2010.  The weekend starts on Friday night with an introduction to patchwork and a discussion about the project that we will complete over the next two days.  The project will be a small sampler quilt.  Participants must have a sewing machine in good operating condition and some basic knowledge of how to operate it. We need three participants for these weekends and the cost is 150 euro per person which includes B&B, for two nights and lunch on Saturday and Sunday.  Call or email Anne Marie for more details!

Directions from Dublin Airport:

• Leaving Dublin Airport take the M50 motor way heading southbound until you see the well posted signs for “Dun Laoghaire / Ferry” (N11).

• Follow these signs until you reach the N11(4 miles). Then head south for approx. 70 miles until you reach the outskirts of Ferns.

• We are situated on the main Enniscorthy (N11) road.

From Wexford:

• Follow the N11 (National road) north bound untill you pass through Enniscorthy.

• Continue on in the direction of Ferns.

• On reaching the town, turn right and continue for approx 2 miles and we are situated on the left hand side of the main N11 Road.
